Descripción de monitoreo y/o mecanismo de implementación

El sistema MRV de Ghana formará parte integral de las estructuras nacionales existentes de monitoreo y evaluación del desarrollo, a través del sistema de Reporte Anual de Progreso (APR por sus siglas en inglés), el cual incorpora revisiones periódicas de la información por sector. El MRV para el NDC se basará en el sistema APR existente, mejorando las funcionalidades técnicas y la coordinación institucional. El sistema MRV será desplegado para dar seguimiento al progreso hacia el logro de las metas del NDC, así como, cualquier modificación en las prioridades de acción política que se implementarán para alcanzar las metas del NDC ya presentadas.

Resumen de referencias sobre género

Dentro de la meta de adaptación, el NDC incluye “resiliencia para el género y el vulnerable” como una acción política del NDC. El Programa de Acciones es “la implementación de adaptación liderada por comunidades y diversificación de los medios de subsistencia para grupos vulnerables”. La política nacional de apoyo es identificada como política nacional de cambio climático. La inversión necesaria estimada es de $1,023 millones y el estatus del compromiso es no condicional.
