Women's Participation on Party Delegations
The following three interactive graphs display data on women's participation on their national Party delegations at every UNFCCC meeting since 2008.
The percentage of women party delegates per meeting is calculated by dividing the total number of women delegates by the total number of delegates. Use the dropdown menus at the right to select entire years or specific meetings to explore this data!
The menu at right offers the chance to explore the data in the graph above at a Party level. Use the dropdown menu to compare individual Parties against the total percentage of women party delegates for that meeting, or compare multiple Parties. When a Party's percentage is highlighted in orange instead of blue, it indicates that a woman served as Head of Delegation.
