No one implementation mechanism is mentioned. The Solomon Island’s implementation of mitigation and adaptation targets is said to be dependent on financial resources, capacity building support, and control of the transition of COVID-19.

Policies that are mentioned that would aid to the NDC’s implementation include the country’s National Development Strategy, the National Forestry Policy of 2020, the Renewable Energy Policy Framework, among others. Moreover, a National Adaptation Plan is to be developed.
