Process for Developing NDC
Norway's parliament approved the emissions reduction target in 2015, and adopted it in 2017. In regard to the enhanced target, “the government has communicated to the Parliament that it intends to update and enhance its climate target for 2030.&
Description of Monitoring and/or Implementation Mechanism
Parliament approved a strategy for implementation approved on April 26, 2018. Various taxing schemes, policies and measures are also in place to aid in successful implementation of the updated NDC.
